"Located near city hall, inside a historic landmark that was once First Pennsylvania Bank, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse Philadelphia offers an unforgettable dining experience. Magnificent balconies draped in plush red fabric overlook the sweeping main dining room, and a breathtaking three-story wine tower serves as the centerpiece of the restaurant."
In 2021, the Berger family of companies launched hope+door, a charity with the purpose of helping families avoid homelessness. No-fault financial emergencies are one of the most common root causes of family homelessness. These emergencies include things like an unexpected illness, car accidents, natural disasters, deaths in the family, etc. Working directly with landlords, hope+door makes a transformative impact on family homelessness by issuing grants that get families back to current on their rent. With the help of hope+door, no-fault financial emergencies no longer have to lead to family homelessness.
Mildred’s Dream Foundation was created in appreciation of the legacy and lifetime work of Mildred Piltch. In celebration of the life she lived, her children have created the foundation in her honor. Mildred’s Dream Foundation is committed to making the world a better place by helping those with physical or mental health challenges; eliminating domestic violence and abuse while supporting survivors of such trauma; and providing access to best education possible for everyone. Mildred’s Dream works to equip community-based nonprofits with resources to improve outcomes for in-need groups through access to education, wellness resources, and support programs.
